The Stanley Parable is an interactive drama and walking simulator designed and written by American developers Davey Wreden and William Pugh. The game was originally released on July 31, 2011 as a free mod for Half-Life 2 by Wreden. Together with Pugh, Wreden later released a stand-alone remake using the Source engine under the Galactic Cafe studio name. The remake included new story elements.
This is a clone of the 2011 Half-Life 2 mod The Stanley Parable. You can follow the directions of the narrator, and get a proper story... or, you can throw it completely off track and change the nature of the narrative entirely. Our team recreated two of the mod's six endings, re-recorded the dialogue, and made simplistic versions of various Source engine objects in Autodesk Maya. We hope that you enjoy!

- The Stanley Parable is the most hilarious ten minutes I've spent with a game all year. I've actually spent more time than that — close to three hours — but each individual playthrough lasts.
