Some Bantam's frame numbers are on the engine mounting plate. 1965-1968: The Frame numbers are usually located on the front engine mounting lug. 1968 on: Frame Number is on front engine mounting lug. “Two Bantam TC-3 Jeep trailers for sale. One is a 1945 serial number 245 and the second one a 1946 is serial number 2521. Serial number 245 is the green one and need a new floor but has original data plate. D7 BANTAM TRAIL BRONC ED7 9001 D7 42878 175 C15 STAR C15F. The B44 VE would Have frame number B44E1145 and engine number B44E1145.

The Bantam in Detail.

Having looked around the Web for years now, I could never find any good close up pics of the Bantam Trailer, although there are a few good sites that deal with Trailers, I thought these may come in handy for someone who was looking for the “details” rather than the “overall general appearance” .. Naturally I have to thank Alasdair Brass in New Zealand for the use of his Trailer for the pics, these were taken when I spent time with Al in 2001, one or two were subsequently taken after I got home, that’s when you discover the new digital camera isn’t as good as the manufacturers advertise them to be.

The trailer shown is a 1943 Bantam T3, Serial Number 36501, and Dated November, 15^th, 1943 (15-11.43)

It’s fitted in some of the shots with a travel bracket for towing so that traffic indicators and brake lights can be used for safety, the Travel Bracket can be quickly removed for displays, requiring no additional holes to be drilled in the rear cross member of the frame.
